With our youngest child John on the heels of beginning a four year imprisonment in college, Terry and I began taking "kidless" vacations. Actually, we weren't totally without family companions as our dog Max tagged along. I am happy to report Max never whined, complained where we ate meals, asked how long it would be until we got there or uttered any smart talk. He liked every activity we did and loved our hotel. We took the ferry to Put-in-Bay. Everyone loved seeing Max, but his anxiety caused him to shy away.
Golf carts are the preferred source of travel on the island. Max absolutely loved riding in our golf cart and would bark at passing joggers and cyclists.
Terry and Max take in the relaxing scenery near the campground.
Max loved wading in Lake Erie. He didn't understand waves so when he bent down to get a drink he got a face full of water!
