A Silty Reflection

After dropping their ballast loads in Seward the work train heads north to do some work at Spencer. They will finish their week at Spencer and then return to Seward again next week where they will continue peddling ties and spreading ballast in preparation for the start of passenger season. Seen here along Upper Trail Lake with just enough space for the whole train to reflect in the silty glacier water. Taken on June 12, 2020
