As is always the case this time of year I head north with the freight out of Anchorage in hopes of capturing some images not normally possible except during the summer solstice. Such was the case on Thursday 6.19.25. I captured the 130N crossing the Matanuska River at 2105 with both Pioneer Peak and Twin Peaks in the background. While things look lovely in front of me a storm was raging behind me and sun lightning would start a wild fire near Healy, AK. To be continued...
