This is a classic early 1970s image of ARR power of the time. Since there was a large fleet of F units and a healthy stable of Geeps, scenes like this were common. The locomotives here are 1518, unknown B, 2501, 2502, 2000, and 2503.

The location looks like its possibly Anchorage but I can't see anything to match up with modern day photos. Do any old heads recognize this spot? - Mike Gerenday
